Competition Corner's ticketing feature lets you create a complete ticketing storefront for your event — selling spectator tickets, parking passes, coach passes, VIP access, and any custom ticket type you need. Customers purchase online and receive a QR code they can save to their digital wallet, and your team scans them at the gate using the Competition Corner mobile app.

Ticket Types

You can create as many ticket types as your event requires. Common types include:

  • Spectator Tickets — general admission for fans and family to watch the event

  • Parking Passes — pre-purchasable parking to streamline venue arrival

  • Coach Passes — access passes for coaches accompanying athletes

  • VIP Access — premium access to designated areas, lounges, or event perks

  • Custom Types — create any ticket type that fits your event's specific needs

How to Set Up Ticketing

  1. From your event dashboard, navigate to Tickets

  2. Click Configure Ticket Types to set up the types of tickets you want to offer

  3. For each ticket type, set the name, price, and availability

  4. Save your ticket types

  5. Share your ticketing store link with your audience so they can purchase ahead of the event

Once ticket types are configured your store is live and ready to accept purchases. You can also create orders manually on behalf of customers by clicking + Create New Order from the Tickets dashboard.

The Attendee Journey

Here's what the experience looks like from a customer's perspective:

  1. Purchase online — the customer visits your ticketing store link and selects their ticket type

  2. Receive QR code — immediately after purchase, a unique QR code is generated and sent to them via email

  3. Save to digital wallet — customers can save their QR code directly to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for quick, offline access at the venue

  4. Arrive at the venue — the customer presents their QR code on their phone at the gate

  5. Scanned and validated — your team scans the QR code using the Competition Corner mobile app, instantly confirming it's valid and marking it as used

QR Codes & Digital Wallet

Every ticket purchase generates a unique QR code. Each code is single-use and tied to that specific ticket — so it can't be shared or reused after it's been scanned. Customers can access their QR code from their confirmation email or save it directly to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, making it instantly accessible without needing an internet connection at the gate.

Mobile Scanning App

Your event team scans tickets using the Competition Corner mobile app. The app is fast, reliable, and works offline — so a slow or patchy connection at the venue won't slow down your entry lines. Each scan instantly validates the ticket and marks it as used, preventing duplicate entry.

Managing Ticket Orders

All ticket orders are tracked in Tickets > Orders List in your event dashboard. From here you can view all purchases, see which tickets have been scanned and validated, and create manual orders for walk-up sales or on-site purchases.

Good to Know

  • Ticket payments are processed through your connected Stripe account — no separate payment setup is needed

  • Ticket types can be added or adjusted at any time before or during your event

  • The scanning app works offline — ideal for venues with unreliable connectivity

  • Discount codes can be applied to spectator ticket purchases — see Discount Codes for details

  • Tickets are separate from athlete registration — athletes use a different QR code for athlete check-in
