Giving athletes the ability to manage their own registration details reduces your administrative workload and empowers them to keep their information accurate without contacting you. Competition Corner lets you control exactly what athletes can self-manage — and when those permissions expire.
All self-service controls are found under Registration Settings.
Division Changes
By default, athletes cannot change their own division after registering. When enabled, athletes can switch to a different division on their own within your specified deadline — without you having to do it manually.
Go to Registration Settings and set Allow Athletes to Change Division to Yes, then set a Division Change Deadline.
Athletes can switch divisions as long as the new division is the same price, not sold out, and the same format (e.g. individual to individual).
Registration Details
Athletes can update their own registration details — such as affiliate, address, and other fields — up until the Registration Update Deadline you set. This is useful for keeping athlete data accurate before you lock things down ahead of competition day.
To enable: go to Registration Settings and set a Registration Update Deadline.
Apparel Size
If you're collecting apparel sizes, athletes can update their size selection after registering. The window closes at whichever deadline comes first — the Registration Update Deadline or the Team Management Deadline for team events.
Team Roster Management
Team captains can manage their own roster after registration — updating the team name, affiliate, and teammate details. This is enabled by default and is a meaningful time-saver, as it removes the need for you to handle routine roster corrections.
The team management window closes automatically when registration closes, but you can set an earlier cut-off if needed. Go to Registration Settings, locate Team Management Deadline, and set the date and time you want to lock the roster.
Setting a deadline earlier than registration close gives you time to finalise heats, heat sheets, and bib assignments before competition day.
