The Competition Corner app is your command center on competition day. Instead of printed lists and highlighters, your Athlete Hospitality team can check in athletes, handle waivers, assign bib numbers, and review registrations — all from a phone or tablet.

Download the App

The app is available on the Apple App Store. Android support is coming soon.

Setting Up Your Check-In Team

You don't need to give your check-in volunteers full access to your event. In your Event Setup, go to Collaborators and create a Check-In Volunteer account. This account type is purpose-built for the Athlete Hospitality team — it gives them everything they need on the day without access to your broader event settings.

What the App Lets You Do

Once logged in, your check-in staff can:

  • Find athletes by scanning their QR code, searching by name, or browsing the list

  • Review registration details to confirm divisions, categories, and any notes on the athlete's entry

  • Collect liability waivers — if an athlete hasn't signed yet, they can do it right there at check-in

  • Assign or reassign bib numbers — bibs are typically pre-assigned before the event, but the app lets you handle last-minute sign-ups or replace a lost bib on the spot

  • View retail orders — pull up a full order summary for any athlete so you can hand off merchandise or gear at check-in

Prepare Athletes Ahead of Time

To keep check-in moving quickly on the day, we recommend sending athletes their QR code in advance. On your Messaging page, you'll find a ready-to-use Athlete Check-In email template. Sending this before the event puts the QR code directly in athletes' inboxes — handy for anyone who hasn't saved it to their digital wallet or downloaded it from their dashboard yet.

For Athletes: The Check-In QR Code

Athletes don't need their QR code to check in — your team can search by name — but having it speeds things up considerably. Athletes can find their QR code on their My Competitions page. They should locate the event and tap Check In Code.
