Season Leaderboard

Run a season-long points competition across multiple events — individual or team, virtual or on-location — with a cumulative leaderboard that tracks who's leading the series.

The Season Leaderboard lets you run a structured season of competitions where athletes accumulate points across multiple events — and the athlete or team with the most points at the end of the season wins. Think of it like the FedEx Cup or a rally racing championship: each event contributes to a running total, and the final standings reflect consistent performance across the whole season rather than a single event.

Common Use Cases

The format is flexible enough to support a range of competition structures:

  • Multi-location season — Run the same competition across multiple locations over a season, with athletes accumulating points at each stop. The athlete with the most points at the end of the season is crowned the overall champion. See a live example — three locations, one season, one winner.

  • Qualifier series leading to a championship — Run multiple qualifying events where top finishers earn points and a spot at a championship event, with a secondary points-based path for athletes who consistently perform well without winning outright.

  • Community or affiliate cup — Partner with other affiliates or competitions to build a local or regional series, crowning the top competitor or affiliate across the season.

What the Diagram Shows

The diagram below illustrates how a Season Leaderboard can be structured at different tiers — from individual local events feeding into a regional series, all the way up to a national or championship-level leaderboard. It demonstrates both the qualifier path and the points accumulation path running simultaneously.

Key Features

  • Supports both individual and team formats

  • Mix virtual and on-location events within the same series

  • Set independent point values per event — for example, on-location events can award more points than virtual qualifiers to reflect the higher level of competition

  • Define a cut-off placement per event — athletes finishing below a set position (e.g. 40th place) receive no points for that event, keeping the series competitive
