Competition weekend rarely goes exactly to plan. A heat runs long, equipment takes longer to set up than expected, or a division finishes ahead of schedule — suddenly your posted times are out of sync with reality. The last thing you want is athletes showing up late or standing around confused because the online schedule doesn't match what's actually happening on the floor.
The Adjust Heat Schedule feature lets you shift all remaining heat times in seconds, with updates pushed automatically to the leaderboard and athlete schedules — no reprinting, no manual corrections.
How to Adjust the Schedule
Go to the Schedule tab within any workout and click Adjust Heat Schedule.
Select the first heat you want to shift from — all heats from this point onwards will be affected
If the delay also impacts other workouts running on the same stage, check Include subsequent workouts on this stage to cascade the shift across those too
Set your new time using one of two methods:
Nudge by minutes — enter a positive or negative number of minutes to shift the schedule forward or back relative to the current times
Set an exact start time — enter the specific time you want the selected heat to start, and the system will recalculate all subsequent heats from there
A preview of the updated times is shown before you commit — review the new schedule to confirm it looks right, then confirm to apply the changes
The adjustment cascades through all subsequent heats in ascending order. For example, if you shift from Heat 5, every heat from Heat 5 onwards will be updated — heats before that remain unchanged.
What Updates Automatically
Once confirmed, the new times are immediately reflected across:
The public Schedule on the leaderboard
Each athlete's personal heat schedule
Any athlete viewing their schedule through the Competition Corner app — who will also receive updated push notification reminders based on the new times
Athletes and spectators see the correct times the moment you make the change — no communication lag, no confusion on the floor.
Don't Forget Your Backend Team
While the online schedule updates instantly, your on-site team may still be working from a printed copy. Make sure to notify your floor managers, scorekeepers, and judges of the adjustment so everyone is operating from the same timeline.
