Adding, disconnecting or changing your Stripe account

Competition Corner supports connecting multiple Stripe accounts to your organizer profile. This is particularly useful for organizations that run events across different regions and need separate Stripe accounts to handle different currencies.


Before You Begin

⚠️ You cannot disconnect or switch your Stripe account while you have any events with a status of PUBLISHED (i.e., actively open for registration). You must close or unpublish any active events before making changes to your payment processor.


How to Disconnect or Switch Your Stripe Account

  1. Click the gear icon to open your Organizer Profile

  2. Select Organizer Profile Settings

  3. Go to the Integration Settings tab

  4. Scroll to Payment Processor

  5. Click Disconnect to remove your current Stripe account, or Switch Account to connect a new one


Adding Multiple Stripe Accounts

If you run events in multiple countries or regions, you can connect multiple Stripe accounts to your organizer profile. Each event can then be assigned to the appropriate Stripe account based on its currency and region.

This is ideal for global organizations that need to:

  • Collect payments in local currencies

  • Keep regional revenue and payouts separate

  • Meet local financial or compliance requirements

To add an additional Stripe account, follow the same steps above and connect a new account without disconnecting your existing one.


Switching to a New Stripe Account

If you're switching accounts rather than adding one, we recommend connecting your new Stripe account before disconnecting the old one. This reduces downtime and ensures your events are ready to accept payments as soon as you swap over.
