  3. Offers direct payment to you

Now it's time to walk through the setup...

  1. You'll need a Stripe account first, if you haven't signed up for one, you can start that process here www.stripe.com

  2. Click on the gear icon to open your Organizer Profile

  3. Click on the Organizer Profile Settings

  4. Go to the Integration Settings tab

  5. Scroll to Payment Processor and click "Connect"

  6. Once you've connected your Stripe account, when you setup your event, make sure you set your Payment Method as "Your Stripe Account", to funnel registrations through your credit card processor.  Competition Corner fees will automatically be processed.

If you are new to Stripe, here are some tips to ensure you are fully verified:

  • Make sure you're using a business email address. Free email addresses such as gmail, hotmail, etc.. may delay your approval.

  • Registered businesses will likely be approved quicker than sole proprietors

  • Be expeditious in responding to any Stripe requests, especially if you are new to their platform.

FAQ's

  • Will I still receive weekly payouts? - You'll actually receive REAL TIME payouts using Stripe, as soon as a registration comes in, that money flows through Stripe account and then transferred to the bank account connected to Stripe.  

  • Will I be able to issue refunds directly from Competition Corner? - YES!
