You have the ability to set privacy settings by the division which gives you the flexibility to control the flow of registrations for each division.

For example, if you are running an event where certain divisions are open to the public while other divisions are based on invite only.  You can set the public/private settings for the respective division.  

Simply go to Divisions, edit the division and set it accordingly.

A typical scenario is you're running a Team / Individual event, and the Individual event is entirely public while Team is private.
