My event is unable to collect payments

My athletes are reporting this message when they are trying to make a payment for my event:

This account cannot currently make live charges. If you are a customer trying to make a purchase, please contact the owner of this site. Your transaction has not been processed.

The reason they are seeing this is because "Payments" have been disabled in your Stripe account, this is due to missing verification details.

Head to your Stripe Account Status page to see if there are any pending action items awaiting for you.
