My athletes are seeing this message when they are trying to make a payment for my event:

This account cannot currently make live charges. If you are a customer trying to make a purchase, please contact the owner of this site. Your transaction has not been processed.

The reason they are seeing this is because "Payments" are disabled in your Stripe account, this is due to a verification step you may have missed such as uploading your ID or providing your business details.

  • Log into your Stripe account at www.stripe.com
  • Go to Business Settings
  • Go to Verification¬†

Make sure you have identified your identity and you are the business owner of your account.  To determine that, edit your name and make sure you own 25% or more of your business.
