Exporting Athlete Data

How to extract athlete data from your event — including t-shirt reports, check-in sheets, and full Excel exports.

Competition Corner gives you several ways to extract raw athlete data out of your event — from quick printable reports to full spreadsheet exports you can manipulate yourself. Knowing which tool to reach for depends on what you're trying to do.

T-Shirt Order Sheet

The most common use case for data extraction is planning your t-shirt order. The T-Shirt Order Sheet gives you a quick summary breakdown of how many shirts you need to order, grouped by size and gender.

  1. Go to Reports

  2. Click T-Shirt Order Sheet

This is the fastest way to get the numbers you need before placing your order with a supplier.

Athlete Check-In Sheet

The Athlete Check-In Sheet is the old-school approach to managing check-in — a printed PDF roster showing each athlete alongside their affiliate, t-shirt size, and waiver status, with a checkbox to mark them off as they arrive. If you're comfortable with pen and paper and it works for your event, go for it.

  1. Go to Reports

  2. Click Athlete Check-In Sheet

That said, if you haven't tried the app yet, it's worth it. The Competition Corner app lets your check-in team process athletes by scanning their QR code, collect outstanding waivers on the spot, assign or swap bib numbers, and view retail orders — all from a phone. No printing, no highlighters, and no paper to reconcile at the end of the day. See Athlete Check-In: Using the App on Competition Day for how to get set up.

Detailed Athlete Export

For complete flexibility, you can export your entire athlete list to Excel. This gives you every data field collected during registration — including t-shirt sizes, divisions, custom field responses, and more — allowing you to build any custom report or filter you need.

  1. Go to Reports

  2. Locate Detailed Athlete List

  3. Click Export Athletes

This is the go-to option when you need to cross-reference athlete data, share it with a third party (such as a shirt supplier or sponsor), or build your own custom views in a spreadsheet.

Editing an Individual Athlete's Details

If you need to update a specific athlete's information — such as correcting a t-shirt size after registration — you can do this directly from the athlete record:

  1. Go to Athletes

  2. Search for the athlete and click the Update icon
