You can stop marketing emails from any event organizer in under a minute from your Notification Settings page, and still get the updates you need for events you're registered in.
Whenever you register for an event on Competition Corner, that event's organizer is added to your Notification Settings. From there you choose, organizer by organizer, which kinds of email you want to receive.
Event Updates vs. Marketing Updates
Each organizer has two checkboxes. To stop promotional emails, uncheck Marketing Updates only.
Event Updates — information about events you're registered in, such as schedule changes, heat times, check-in details and waiver reminders. We recommend keeping this checked so you don't miss anything on competition day.
Marketing Updates — promotional emails from the organizer, such as announcements of future events, early-bird offers and sponsor promotions. Uncheck this to stop marketing emails from that organizer.
How to Unsubscribe from Marketing Emails
Log in to your Competition Corner account.
Go to competitioncorner.net/editprofile/notifications. You can also get there from Edit Profile > Notifications.
Find the organizer you want to stop hearing from. The Notification Settings table lists every organizer whose events you've registered for, with their company name and email address.
Uncheck Marketing Updates in that organizer's row.
Leave Event Updates checked if you still want information about their events you're registered in.
Repeat for any other organizers.
Tip: Want no promotional email from anyone? Uncheck Marketing Updates in every row.
