Controlling When Your Leaderboard Goes Public

Control when your leaderboard goes public — set a release date from your dashboard or Scoring Setup to manage exactly when athletes can see results.

Competition Corner gives you full control over when your leaderboard becomes visible to athletes. By default, results are not publicly accessible until you set a release date — this lets you manage the timing of your results reveal, whether that's live as scores come in or at a specific moment after your event concludes.

Why Athletes Can't See the Leaderboard

If athletes are seeing this message when trying to view your leaderboard:

"The leaderboard for this event has not been released, check back soon or contact the Event Organizer for details."

It means the leaderboard release date has not been set, or the release date is set to a future time that hasn't been reached yet. No scores are visible to athletes until the release date and time has passed.

How to Set Your Leaderboard Release Date

You can set the leaderboard release date in two places:

Option 1 — From your event dashboard
Look for the leaderboard release date option directly on your event dashboard and set the date and time you want results to go live.

Option 2 — From Scoring Setup

  1. Go to Planning > Scoring Setup

  2. Click on Leaderboard Settings

  3. Set the Release Leaderboard On to the date and time you want results to become publicly visible

  4. Save your changes

Once the release date and time is reached, the leaderboard will automatically become visible to athletes — no further action required on your end.

Good to Know

  • The leaderboard release date can be updated at any time — before, during, or after your event

  • Setting the date to a past time will make the leaderboard immediately visible

  • Athletes will see the locked message until the exact date and time you've set has passed
