Registration Settings is the control centre for how your registration form looks and behaves. From what information you collect, to legal requirements, privacy compliance, and athlete self-service options — everything is managed here.

Navigate to Registration > Registration Settings to access these options.

Default Information Collected

Every registration form automatically collects the following by default:

Individual events

  • First and Last Name

  • Gender

  • Email Address

  • Emergency Contact

  • Division

  • Affiliate / Box / Gym

Team events

  • Team Name

  • Teammate information (Name and Email Address per teammate)

Everything below is optional and can be turned on or off based on what your event needs.

Additional Data Collection

Enable these settings to collect more information from athletes during registration.

Setting

What it does

Apparel Options

Ask athletes for t-shirt, shorts, and shoe sizes — useful if you're providing or selling event apparel. You can also upload an image of each apparel item (optimal size: 1080 x 1080 px) so athletes can see exactly what they're getting. Giving athletes a visual preview of your event swag can be a surprisingly effective registration motivator.

Date of Birth

Collect athlete birth dates — useful for age-based divisions or Masters categories

Address

Toggle address collection on or off depending on whether you need it

Nation Representing

Allow athletes to declare the country they are representing — displayed on the leaderboard for global events

Benchmark Details

Collect athlete benchmark stats such as max lifts or qualifying scores — useful for seeding athletes into divisions

Legal & Compliance

Setting

What it does

Waiver & Liability

Require athletes to read and digitally sign a liability waiver before completing registration. This is a required step before your event can go live

Refund Policy

Define and display your refund terms to athletes during the registration flow so they're aware before completing payment

Additional Terms & Conditions

Add any supplementary terms you want athletes to acknowledge — event-specific rules, codes of conduct, media consent, or any other agreements relevant to your event

Athlete Self-Service Controls

Setting

What it does

Registration Update Deadline

Set a deadline after which athletes can no longer update their own registration details. Useful for locking in division selections and personal information before you finalise heats and schedules

Division Change

Allow or restrict athletes from changing their own division after registration

Event Visibility & Access

Setting

What it does

Public / Private Event

Set your event to public so anyone can find and register, or private so only people with the password or a direct link can access registration. Typically used for in-house, invite-only, or corporate events

Password Protection

Require a password to access your registration form — keeps your event hidden from the general public while allowing invited athletes to register

Subcategories

Enable subcategories to segment athletes by additional attributes such as region, weight class, or any other custom grouping relevant to your event

Privacy & Compliance

Setting

What it does

GDPR Compliance

Enable GDPR-compliant data collection controls for events registering athletes in the EU, EEA, or Switzerland

CCPA Compliance

Enable CCPA-compliant privacy controls for events registering athletes in California

Enabling the appropriate privacy controls ensures your registration flow meets regional data protection requirements. If you are unsure which applies to your event, consult your legal advisor.

Notifications

Setting

What it does

Registration Notification Emails

Receive an email notification every time a new registration is completed — useful for keeping track of registrations as they come in
